Shehroze served as Educational Technology Developer at the University of Guelph, where he became the institution’s lead consultant on AI and Generative AI in education. He played a key role in launching the university’s Provisional Recommendations and Policies for the Use of Generative AI, and led the development of the Teaching in the Context of AI website. His work empowered faculty, staff, and students to engage with AI confidently, ethically, and with purpose. One of his most impactful accomplishments was organizing the inaugural Teaching with Artificial Intelligence Conference, which launched in 2024 and has since grown into the largest AI in Education event in Canada. The 2025 conference welcomed over 1,770 registrants from 230+ universities, colleges, and K–12 school boards, along with 80+ industry partners and organizations from around the world.
